How Rainbow Rush plays
- Match: play a card matching the active colour, the number, or the action symbol on top. Wild cards play on anything.
- Skip: the next player loses a turn. With two players, that means you play again.
- Reverse: direction flips. With two players, it works like a Skip.
- Draw Two: the next player draws 2 and loses the turn. Draw effects do not stack in this version.
- Wild: play it on anything, then tap the colour the next player must follow.
- Wild Draw Four: name a colour, the next player draws 4, and their turn passes.
- No play? Draw exactly one card. If it can play, you may tap it immediately — or pass and keep it. If it cannot play, the turn moves on.
- Draw pile: it stays closed while you hold a playable card. Tapping it then explains why and changes nothing.
- One card! A player down to a single card gets the callout automatically; there is no penalty rule in this version.
- Winning: shed your last card to take the round. Quick is one round; Classic is first to win 3 rounds.
